Cellist Latica Anić and Krešimir Starčević started their collaboration with a chamber music concert in Dubrovnik in 2015. Since then, Krešimir has been Latica’s regular chamber partner, with whom she played at two competitions where she was awarded – the Ferdo Livadić Competition in Samobor and the Darko Lukić Cycle in Zagreb.
Latica and Krešimir presented to the audience in Pula a selection of compositions by Robert Schumann (Fünf Stücke im Volkston, Op. 102) , Leoš Janaček (Pohadka), Boris Papanadopoulos (Rapsodia Concertante) and Sergei Prokofiev (Sonata Op. 119). It’s interesting that for the performance of Papandopulo’s composition Latica won an award at a competition in Samobor.
The concert was held on September 14, 2022 in the beautiful church of St. Francis in Pula, with inspiring acoustic and architecture.
